Disco Soup is an upcoming company based in Manchester, UK,  which will specialise in the creation and distribution of original work. We are an out of the ordinary, quirky, imaginative group that aim to make the content from a range of genre's which is not only surrealist, colourful, unique and experimental, but also combine naturalism and non-naturalism to play with the human psyche.

We stand by our three notions of our manifesto:

1, To champion innovative creativity and voices.

2. Representation for arts and media in the community.

3. Telling the stories we want to see.

Disco Soup was created by BA (Hons) Film Production alumni from the University of Salford, as a means to continue our passion and creativity without restrictions. We have found after graduating, that we weren't given much guidance or support about how to find work and experience in such a competitive industry. Disco Soup allows us to not only make our own work, but to also be an ever-growing network of new creatives...we want to be a resource for future graduates and creatives unsure of what their next step is, something we would loved to have seen for us.

Our first short film, 'Wonderful Disaster: A Story of Seasonal Fruit' has been shortlisted at the 2025 Experimental Fiction Film Festival as part of INEFF's 24/7 Competition. We also have other projects currently in the works which will be coming before the end of the year.
